Chocolate Milk
Making flavoured milk is the perfect introduction to the kitchen for kids of all ages because it’s quick, tasty and everyone can do it.
And I’m yet to find a child that doesn’t love the idea of chocolate milk! We’ve made real strawberry milk before and now we’re making its chocolate cousin.
What Makes This Recipe Great For Making With Kids
- Just Three Ingredients: When it comes to getting started, the less ingredients the better.
- Super Versatile: This recipe works with any milk you have as well as almost any sweetener.
Tips For Making Chocolate Milk
- Little Hands at Work: Let the kids (over 4) handle every step except the blender action. They can even practice their strawberry green-top plucking skills – it’s all part of the fun.
- Ingredient Watch: This recipe works with any milk. If you are using plant-based milk, watch out for seed oils in the ingredients. If you are using oat milk, OMG is the one I recommend!
- Measuring Smarts: Use a measuring jug for the milk instead of regular cups; it’s like spill-proof insurance with extra wiggle room at the top.
